My mom had 44 cats in her lifetime.
And many lived into their 20s.
When I tell people that, they don’t believe me.
“Cats don’t live that long.”
“It must be genetics.”
But there was one thing I knew that they didn’t…
And I didn’t realize how important it was until much later.
For over 30 years, my mom followed the exact same daily routine with every cat she owned.
At the time, I didn’t think much about it.
It was just something she did.
Until she passed away.
When my mom passed, I inherited two of her cats.
Bonnie was 19.
Clyde was 17.
And for the first time in decades, that daily routine stopped.
Within a few months… things changed.
